Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Crispy Perfection – The air fryer makes the outside crispy and golden brown while keeping the inside hot and delicious.
  • Healthier Option – Using an air fryer means less oil than traditional deep frying so you aren’t adding in lots of calories.
  • Quick & Convenient – No need to thaw before cooking. Just pop them straight from the freezer into the air fryer.
  • Easy Cleanup – No greasy pans or splattered oil! That’s a big win in my book.

How to Make Frozen Pagoda Egg Rolls in the Air Fryer

It doesn’t get any easier. Grab a box of your favorite Pagoda Frozen Egg Rolls (any variety).

Optional: cooking spray for extra crispiness.

Instructions:

1.Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 2-3 minutes. This helps achieve an even, crispy texture.

2. Place the egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they aren’t touching so the hot air circulates properly. If you want them extra crispy then give them a quick spray with your favorite cooking spray.

3. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. This ensures even browning on both sides.

4. Check for crispiness. If needed, add 1-2 more minutes for extra crunch.

Let them rest for a minute before serving. They’ll be very hot inside!

Tips for the Best Air Fryer Egg Rolls

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket – Cook in batches if needed to avoid soggy spots.
  • Give them space – Proper air circulation is key to crispy results.
  • Lightly spray with oil – If you want extra crunch, a quick spritz of oil before cooking helps.
  • Pair with a delicious dip – Serve with sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, or even a spicy sriracha mayo for added flavor!

How to Store & Reheat Leftovers

If you have leftover egg rolls (which is rare because they’re so tasty!), here’s how to store and reheat them:

  • Refrigerate: Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the Air Fryer: To keep them crispy, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  • Freeze Again? While you can technically refreeze them now that they have been cooked they won’t be as crispy the second time around. Air frying is fast and easy so just make enough to eat in one sitting so you can enjoy them being crispy.

  • Turn the egg rolls over and cook at 370 degrees for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

I use the Power XL air fryer and typically cook my frozen foods on the pizza setting (370 degrees). You can also use the french fry setting (360 degrees) but you may have to cook the egg rolls a little longer after turning them.
You don’t have to turn them but I find that they get a bit crispier if you do.
