Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • Small bowl
  • ramekins or small baking dishes

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Pretzel Rods
  • 12 ounce Candy melts white
  • 12 ounce Candy melts red
  • 1 ounce Holiday Colored Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Add the white melting chocolates to a microwave safe bowl. Follow the package directions on your bag of candy melts. Once the chocolate is melted and smooth transfer it to a tall glass.
    12 ounce Candy melts
  • Dip pretzel rod into the middle of the glass. Spin the rod around until it is covered with the chocolate. If you want to cover more of the pretzel rod simply tilt the glass (don't spill the melted chocolate) and spin the pretzel rod to coat it. Lift up the rod and allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
    12 ounces Pretzel Rods
  • Hold the coated pretzel over a plate or bowl to catch the excess sprinkles. Take a pinch of the sprinkles and sprinkle them over the melted chocolate. Place the pretzel on the parchment lined baking sheet. Continue to dip and decorate the pretzels until half of the available pretzel rods have been dipped in the white chocolate.
    1 ounce Holiday Colored Sprinkles
  • Repeat steps above using the red melting wafers to dip and decorate the remaining pretzel rods.
    12 ounce Candy melts
  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow chocolate to set. Once the chocolate has hardened you can package the pretzel rods or creatively place them on to a dessert charcuterie board or serve them for dessert.

Notes
