Equipment

  • Medium sauce pan
  • Mixing spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 small Red Onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice or the juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 packages Shirataki rice about 6 ounces each
  • 1/3 cup Feta Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a skillet melt the butter and add the olive oil.
  • Add in the diced onion and minced garlic. Saute until softened.
  • While onion/garlic are cooking rinse off the shirataki rice in a strainer. When onion is soft add in the shirataki rice and mix well.
  • Add in the juice of 1 lemon
  • Turn off heat and stir in feta.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
