Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mini Pretzels
  • 1 cup white chocolate melts melted
  • 1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips melted
  • 2 tablespoons Holiday Colored Sprinkles
  • candy eyes
  • 1 tablespoon Colored Sugar
  • 10 Skittles
  • Orange Dye
  • Purple Dye

Instructions

  • Wrap a cutting board or baking sheet with plastic wrap or use parchment paper to make removing the chocolate dipped pretzels easier.
  • Melt the white candy melts according to the instructions on the package. If you find that the melted candy isn’t thin and easy to dip your pretzels try adding in a teaspoon of coconut oil to help improve the consistency.

To make pretzel Ghosts:

  • Dip the pretzels one by one in the white chocolate allowing the excess chocolate to drip off back into the bowl. Place the dipped pretzels on the prepared board and decorate with candy eyes. Place the pretzels into the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden.

To make pretzel Owls:

  • Dip the pretzels one by one in melted chocolate chips allowing the excess chocolate to drip off back into the bowl. Place the dipped pretzels on the prepared board and decorate with candy eyes. Press a half of a Skittle between the eyes to create a nose. Place the pretzels into the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden.

To make pretzel Pumpkins:

  • Color the white melted chocolate by adding 2 drops of orange dye to the melted white chocolate and stirring well. Dip the pretzel, place on a prepared board and before the chocolate cools, place a round green candy on the pretzel to be the pumpkin stem. If you find green sprinkles that are shaped like a leaf you can use those. Sprinkle each pretzel with orange or white sanding sugar. Place the pretzels into the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden.

To make pretzel Monsters:

  • Start by coloring the white melted chocolate. Add 2 drops of purple dye to the melted white chocolate and stir the mixture. Dip the pretzel, place on a prepared board and before the chocolate cools a one eye, two eyes or even three eyes on your Monster pretzel. Sprinkle each pretzel with some colored sprinkles. Place the pretzels into the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden.
