  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1-2 ounces Espresso prepared
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream cold

Instructions

Prepare the espresso:

  • Prepare the espresso using ground or instant espresso. Set aside.
    1-2 ounces Espresso

Prepare the white chocolate:

  • Place the white chocolate chips or the chopped white chocolate squares into your cup.
2 tablespoons white chocolate chips, 1 1/3 cups milk
  • Heat the milk in a small sauce pan or in the microwave. Pour over the white chocolate. Stir until the while chocolate is melted.
  • Pour the espresso over the white chocolate mixture. Stir until blended.

Make whipped topping:

  • Place the cold heavy heavy whipping cream into a bowl and, using a hand mixer, whip it until peaks form. Spoon some of the whipped cream on top of the white chocolate mocha.
    1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Top with additional white chocolate shavings if desired.
Additional white chocolate shavings for garnish

Notes

I like using instant espresso such as Nescafe or Cafe Bustelo. It is typically made with 1 teaspoon instant espresso to 2 to 6 ounces of hot water depending upon the type of drink you are making. If making espresso try 1 teaspoon of instant espresso and mix in 1/4 cup of hot water.
To cut calories swap out the whole milk for reduced fat, fat free or even an alternative milk such as almond milk or soy milk.
Don't want to make your own whipped cream topping? Swap out the heavy whipping cream for some canned whipped cream topping.
