All Purpose Flour – use your favorite brand.

Salted Butter – you’ll need 1 stick of room temperature, salted butter.

Light Brown Sugar – light brown sugar is great with this recipe as. You can swap it out for dark brown sugar if desired.

Peanut Butter – use smooth, crunchy or natural peanut butter in this recipe. Both are delicious.

Banana – you’ll need about a 1/2 cup of overripe bananas (about 1 medium sized banana). You can mash the banana or slice it if you’d like small pieces of banana in the cookies.

Egg – use a large egg for this recipe.

Vanilla Extract – adds delicious flavor to the cookies.

Baking Soda – this helps the cookies rise.

Pinch of Salt – this helps to balance out the sweetness in the cookie.

Optional: Granulated Sugar to sprinkle on top of the cookies.

How to make Peanut Butter Banana Cookies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper, set aside.

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar together well using an electric mixer.  Mix for 2 minutes.
