Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Turkey
  • 1 medium medium onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 ounces Green Chiles
  • 15 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 15 ounces Tomato Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • Add in the ground turkey and brown while breaking it into small crumbles.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, green chiles, tomato sauce, liquid smoke as well as the spices. Stir well to combine.
  • Turn the heat to medium low. Add in the beef broth and stir well. Cook over medium low heat. Allow the chili to cook while stirring occasionally for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

Notes

This recipe is easy enough to convert to a more traditional, bean chili to feed those family members who aren't on a keto diet? They like to add black beans or pinto beans into their bowls of chili. Just warm the beans up, add to their bowls, top with chili and stir to mix in. A great way to make one recipe and serve it to two different eating styles.
