- Sugar free dill pickles, diced – look for sugar free pickles. If you can’t find them in your local store then you can use traditional pickles but there will be some additional net carbs added to the sauce. Check the label for the pickles you use. You can also use dill pickle relish if you are able to find a sugar free version.
- Yellow mustard – stick with yellow and don’t replace with another type of mustard. This adds a bit of tangy flavor to the sauce as this type of mustard has more vinegar than other types.
- White vinegar – you can replace the white vinegar with apple cider vinegar if desired.
- Onions, finely diced – adds flavor to the sauce. If you want to add the onion flavor and don’t want to dice up a small amount of onion you can swap out the fresh onion for 1/8 teaspoon onion powder.
- Swerve or other sugar free sweetener – use your favorite brand of sugar free sweetener or sugar substitute for this recipe.
