What I Ate Wednesday 9

Hard to believe a whole week has whizzed on by since the last What I Ate Wednesday  link up over at Peas and Crayons.  This month’s theme is falling into good habits. Since school is back in session I’m trying to focus on making sure that I have some type of supper planned so we don’t end up with something out of a box.

Besides supper my other good habit that I’m trying to work on is exercise. The life of a student includes a whole lot of sitting to read, sitting to write, sitting to work on the computer. A whole lot of sitting. To help with that habit I joined a Crossfit gym. Tonight is the second night of their foundations class. I can’t wait to become even more sore and stiff than I already am 🙁 Hopefully my knees get use to this sort of thing. Right now they are wondering what in the world I’m doing to them.

Before I head off for tonight’s torture here’s yesterdays eats.

Breakfast:

Coffee and multivitamins. It’s the way I start everyday. Then I moved on to this:

Yes, it’s another round of kale, red peppers, onions topped with an egg and a few thin slices of pastrami on the side. Since I’m in school I packed a Click protein shake, a cheese stick and some mixed nuts:

Got home late but that was ok. Supper was busy cooking in the crockpot:

Mmmmmm Balsamic Roast with onions and carrots. Also made mashed potatoes on the side.  This is really good. One might think such a large amount of balsamic vinegar would taste really strong but it comes out delicious. So that was it for the day. Can’t wait to check out what everyone else ate!
